Teac A-7030 semi professional reel to reel

This is a lovely reel to reel, designed to be used in its case or to be built into two separate flight cases, the amplifier is completely separate from the main tape recorder. This recorder is designed to be used professionally though is not a professional recorder, the main key features this recorder has is the ability to run at 15 ips and 7.1/2 ips, and also will play back the 1/4 track tapes which is ideal for anyone wishing to record their old tapes and do not know what track configuration their tapes are. The heads on this recorder look incredibly good, the look to be either glass or some other hard wearing material and not the standard heads found in most TEAC machines of the day, this machine would have been very expensive to buy and would have been at the top of the scale of the Akai range.
