|
This auction is for a part of famous vale amplifiers bade in England, the Quad II mono blocks which use the powerful KT-66 output valves. These units are in almost original condition, one of the units was missing the spare banana connectors so they have all been replaced with the gold plated banana plugs, the 2 remaining connectors will come with the amp in case the new owner wished to restore these back to original condition. The electronics look in excellent condition, the units spent 2 hours being slowly powered up with a variable transformer to prevent any unwanted damage to the electrolytic, the paint work has been left in a none restored condition. Included in this auction will be a pair of mains leads, a part of 6 pole Jones to phono adaptors and a set of transfers for the new owner to add if they with to the chassis of the amplifier. All but one of the valves are British, one of the rectifiers is American however, the rectifier valves job is to supply rectified mains or AC super imposed DC, this does not effect the audio reproduction. |

These units have been tested and come with a 30 day return to base warranty, see terms for full details. The valves will be removed for shipping purposes, its very important that the one KT-66 valve with the damaged base is plugged in the correct way indicated by the black dot, failure to insert this correctly can cause damage to the valve. | |||||||||
