Sony TC-766

   

Sony brought out some amazing recorders in their time, the TC-766 was their second to last machine they made for the domestic market, built to a high standard, this recorder offers fantastic replay and record results on either two speeds. This machine has a lovely aluminium finish, offering stylish retro looks, and compatibility to modern Hi-Fi its an ideal machine for someone who wants to use these great machines either for professional use or domestic looking piece in the front room, or someone looking for a machine to use to duplicate their tapes to DC.

This recorders physical condition is good but does have some scratches, the tape recorders response and reproduction is as good as the day it was made, the main drive belt has been replaced and the machine performs flawlessly in 2 track mode, 4 track mode only one track works.

All items will be covered with insurance as part of post and packing, you must check the item before signing for it, if an item is damaged in transit and has not been signed as such I will not be able to process an insurance claim.

 

This recorder has been tested and has a fault as mentioned with the replay head, track 2 on the 4 track head is faulty, the rest of the machine has been tested and is working fine, therefore this machine comes with a 30 day return to base warranty, see terms for full conditions.
