The Lyrec PTR-1 or the FRIDA rec

The Lyrec PTR-1 or the FRIDA recorder was one of the last to from from Lyrecs line of tape recorders, at the time there were two main machines, the Fred and the Frida, the Fred was a editing machine only where the Frida could record and also had a capstan drive. These machines are built to be professional and portable, the recorders depth is 80mm and weighs in at 12Kg which in the pro world of its time was very light considering its main function. These machines came in 5 main styles, consul with meters and speakers, with no meters but speakers (Both with overhead bridges), no meters or speakers, rack mount and probable, this one being the portable one.
