SR8 (Stellavox) 1980's

Stellavox were considered to be Nagra's only rivals for build quality, their neat trim small compact machines are a thing of beauty and very sort after. The machines were built to a modular spec and in different style, ranging from single speed data machines to 4 speed recorders with time code. The modular design made fault finding very quick but also expensive as each module was not repairable, replacement was the only option.
