Emcorder (EMI) 1950

New Page 1

This machine is still fully functional. A fantastic warm sound is produced via the valves and large 8 inch speaker. This recorder runs at 7 1/2ips and is full track mono. It has an unusual tape lacing system where the tape must be twisted 180 degrees then fed clockwise onto the take-up reel. I am not sure of the age of this machine but it is early 50's as it's a lot older than the TR50.
